Gratitude Challenge – Month 2 – Day #33

As you may recall, day #2 was all about your spouse or significant other.  It was a time to reflect on the amazing positive qualities they have instead of the mistakes they may have made.

Today, I want you to do 2 things:

1st – Take the first few minutes to come up with 10-15 things that have made you smile or that you are grateful for in the last 24 hours.  These can be big things or small and simple things, it’s up to you.  The big things will be easy but the small things will take thought.  Small things can be as simple as someone giving you a smile, a hug or an encouraging word.  Maybe someone held the door open for you or listened to you talk about something important to you.  The choice is yours but allow yourself to submerge into your past 24 hours and see the blessings all around you.

#2nd - Write a letter to your spouse (long or short is up to you), to tell them how much you appreciate them for what they do and who they are to you.  The things they do may range from almost miniscule to large and extravagant.  This is about reflecting on the good and the positive in your spouse instead of the many things they may do wrong.  How and when you give your spouse/significant other the letter is completely up to you.

Remember, this month is about impact so, if you want to make an impact, you have to give them the letter and allow yourself to be vulnerable.

It’s a great start to the week!  Keep going!  You’re rockin’ it!

Let’s win together!

Blessings,

J
