Here we are, Day #3! How are you doing? How are you feeling about the challenge so far? Has it been crazy easy and you're just waiting for it to get harder? Struggling to get to #5? Or somewhere in between?
Wherever you are, don't allow discouragement to set in. This is a process and it's about meeting you where you are at.
Let's address something quick.....time. Time is precious and as a working, homeschool mom of 3, I understand busy. The thought of "adding" something to our life can be a very daunting task, so what do we do about it?
I encourage you to take a look at your day and instead of "adding" this to it, look for something you can replace this with. Maybe it's 15 minutes in the car waiting to pick up your children at school. Maybe it's 15-20 minutes of scrolling social media that can be replaced with 15-20 minutes of reflection to rejuvenate yourself and encourage your soul. Maybe it's 15 minutes of tv time when the kids have gone to bed. Whatever it looks like for you, find that time in your day (and we all have it) that you spend unproductively.
Day #3 - My Children - or someone special to you in your life
*Write down 30 things you love about your child(ren), special memories with each of them or ways that they bless your life. Maybe it's things you see in them that you value about who they are or character traits that are great strengths.
**It's your choice, you can choose to write 30 things about each child or 30 things about all of your children collectively.
Whatever it might be, this is about remembering why they are the greatest blessings in your life. Sometimes life can be busy, or hard and when challenges come our way, we can shift focus without realizing it. Today is about spending some time dwelling about the incredible humans you have the privilege to raise and the value they bring to your life.
I'm proud of you for continuing. You've got this and I'm here with you every step of the way!
